  • Do you offer reckless and aggressive driving courses?

    Yes, we have DMV-approved reckless and aggressive driving courses.
  • When are your driver improvement classes?

    Our driver improvement clinic classes are scheduled every thursday, friday, and saturday. These are full-day, eight-hour classroom sessions that run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • What is behind-the-wheel instruction?

    Behind-the-wheel instruction involves practical driving lessons conducted in a vehicle under the guidance of our certified instructors. These sessions provide hands-on experience in vehicle operation, emphasizing crucial skills such as steering, braking, lane changes, and parking, all of which are essential for obtaining a driver's license.
  • Do you offer courses online and in-person?

    AA Plus Driving School provides both online and in-person course options. Our online courses allow students to learn at their own pace from home. For in-person classes, we offer flexible morning and afternoon scheduling seven days a week at our location.
  • Do you offer pick up and drop off for driving lessons?

    We offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off services for driving lessons. Our service covers the entire nova area, and we can collect students from their home, school, or workplace, ensuring a convenient experience for behind-the-wheel training.
  • Is the driving course schedule flexible?

    Driving sessions are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. After completing the online course and final exam, students are responsible for contacting the driving school to schedule their driving sessions. We advise early scheduling to ensure availability.
  • Where can I register and make payments?

    You can register and make payments through the driving school�s website. They accept all major credit cards, Venmo, and Zelle. Use the phone number (703) 618-6646 for Venmo and Zelle transactions.
  • What requirements are needed to join Teen Behind-the-Wheel?

    To enroll in our Teen Behind-the-Wheel program at the driving school, students must be at least 15 years and six months old. If you opt for the online classroom portion of driver education, it must be completed through a DMV-licensed driver training school (AA Plus Driving School is DMV approved). For all students under 18, you'll need to provide a driver education completion certificate or proof of successfully finishing a state-approved driver education program when applying for your driver's license. Additionally, your parent, guardian, or foster parent must provide their driver's license or state-issued ID number. Then, they must sign the certificate, verifying you've completed at least 45 hours of supervised driving, with 15 of those hours occurring after sunset.
  • What does the Reckless and Aggressive Driving Course include?

    Our four-hour Reckless and Aggressive Driving Course at our driving school is designed to help you understand and avoid dangerous driving behaviors. This classroom training, offered with a flexible schedule, covers: - Consequences in Virginia: Learn about the serious penalties for reckless driving, including fines, license suspension, and potential jail time. - Avoiding Aggressive Habits: Understand and develop skills to prevent aggressive driving as defined by Virginia law. - Crucial Awareness: Given that 12% of U.S. drivers have been in at-fault accidents in the last five years, according to Auto Insurance, this course emphasizes the importance of safe driving habits.
  • What does the Driver Improvement Clinic Course include?

    Our Driver Improvement Clinic is designed to enhance your skills and confidence on the road. Approved by the Department of Education and Virginia DMV, this course at our driving school covers essential topics from defensive driving techniques to mastering road signs and signals. It's one day, eight hours of classroom training. Classes are conveniently offered every day, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We also offer a driver's manual re-examination course, which is another eight-hour class, offered every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • What is your refund policy?

    No refund will be issued after 60 days of registration at the driving school. Online courses are non-refundable.
  • What do I need to bring to my final exam?

    1. Photo identification, such as a DMV-issued identification card, school-issued identification card, valid passport, or military identification 2. Proof of completion of the online driver education course 3. A completed "Parental Consent for Online Driver Education Examination" (DTS 62) if you are under the age of 18 4. Proof of completion of the additional 90-minute parent or teen course if you are under the age of 18 and live in Planning District 8 (counties of Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William, as well as the cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, Manassas, and Manassas Park) If you don't have the 90-minute parent or teen course, please contact AA Plus Driving School in advance, and we will arrange that at the driving school for you.
