We are delighted to announce that AA Plus Driving School is now providing the adult waiver program, an initiative endorsed and approved by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles. Upon successful completion of this program, you can bypass the standard 60-day waiting period, and our driving school will conduct the road test on your behalf, eliminating the need for a DMV road test. It's important to note that this program is not intended for novice drivers; eligibility requires a minimum of 10 hours of prior driving experience. • This program is for drivers 18 years of age and above
• You must have completed the learner's permit exam at the DMV and have the learner’s permit or documentation indicating you’ve successfully completed it. (Some restrictions apply, please call us before signing up.)
• You must complete 36 hours of classroom or 30 hours of online courses. This program will exempt you from the 60-day waiting period
• You’ll have seven 50-minute sessions of driving practice and seven 50-minute sessions of observing

Upon completing these components successfully, our driving school will mail the Adult Waiver Certificate of Completion to the DMV, where they will mail a permanent license to your address in DMV records. (within approximately 30 days.) The DMV will not administer a behind-the-wheel test as our test will fully satisfy all of the DMV’s requirements. Click here to register online.
